2 Weeks and Pants Fit Better

Woot Woot lol… By the way that pic with the loose pants is not me ;-)

Well it is Saturday morning and I just finished up my workout which consisted of the warm up from plyo cardio circuit and the full Cardio Abs circuit from the Insanity Workout. I am typing this from my laptop in the garage sitting on a pain bucket lol

This is 2 full weeks for me of working out and eating very well. My pants are feeling a bit looser, I still have a way to goes, but it is the first sign that I am losing a few pounds where I need to.  This last week was pretty nuts. I had to go for another neck injection on thursday for a herniated disc in my neck that had been bothering me months ago. I am feeling better… thanks for asking ;-)

I did not workout that day since I figured I’d rather just take the day and recover then push my self. This is only the beginning of the fitness challenge and I don’t want to burn out.  I have talked to a handful of you and I know it has been a rough start. These first 2 weeks are really the hardest part. I really feel motivated now and I am looking forward to the next workout. Remember I hope that this challenge is just the beginning to a lifestyle of health and fitness, so if you miss a few workouts or its a rough start, don’t worry just get back into it!

As for eating I have been very good! I have been sticking to a mosly paleo diet except for last night which consisted of 3 slices of pizza and a 22 ounce bottle of Summer Sam Adams…. it was good. I have to say that I love eating like this. I have so much more energy and don’t feel full and bloated all the time. I know it’s hard, but you have to sacrafice sometimes.

Here is a good example. Yesteryday.. Friday my company had an employee picnic. I knew there was gonna be all sorts of goodies and there was. Chips, Cookies, Macaroni, Potato salad and all the other stuff at a BBQ. I had made sure I had a few pieces of fruit before I got there so I would not be starving. Its a lot harder to not eat the bad stuff when your stomach is on empty. So I grabbed a nice big piece of chicken and a cheese burger “no bun” and put on a scoop of quacamoli and salsa. I even went back for one more piece of chicken. Normally I would have pigged out and felt like crap afterwards, but this time I felt great! Just and example thats all.

Anyways I hope you are all sticking with it. I know I am starting to feel stronger and have more stamina. Next to my workout sheet I make sure to write how I was feeling during the workout. I am staring to add more smiley faces to them ;-)
