Pure Cardio & Cardio Abs Hell

Are my abs gonna look like that? It’s so funny since I do my workout in the garage I always get my dvd ready for the next day. I always forget the next morning which workout is coming up. So this morning at 6:20AM when I walked i and saw it was Pure Cardio and Cardio Abs I was like ughhhh lol. Not only was Pure Cardio tough, I had to do cardio abs with it! I got a late start so I had to figure out how to make this work.
I decided to do Pure Cardio and stop it right before the stretching and head into cardio abs, but skip the Cardio ab work out. It worked out well for me and I added in a few more stretches at the end of the Cardio Abs workout.
I was gassed today! The pure cardio warm up had me dripping sweat. Could be that it is getting a lot warmer out too! Yikes gonna be 80 today. Anyways I felt good today. Tired, but stronger. I am able to do things with better form and I am starting to be better with the moves so I know how to get the most out of them which is great.
The Cardio Abs was still rough. My hip flexors man!! I could def feel my abs working harder today and I really tried to focus on my abs and contract them during the movements!! I want a six pack… ok even a 4 pack lol. The abs are getting stronger and I can feel them even more. Just need to shed the fat… which leads me to my next point…
Im not really losing any weight. I think I am actually a pound or 2 heavier if not the same. The last 2 days I have been at 228/229. My diet has been fairly clean. Cheating a few times on the weekend, but for the most part I have been doing good. I have been diagnosed with Sulfite Allergies so I am forced to eat mostly organic and stay away from all processed crap. I think I am gaining some more muscle which is fine. I think next week I am going to really focus more on the diet and go real strict for 2 weeks.
Anyways, feeling good, feeling strong and getting there!!

Cardio Abs is the only part of the program that I'm disappointed with up until now. The movements are obviously designed to work your abs, and they do a good job… My problem is that when I MUST stop and rest for a sec, it's not because my abs can't take anymore, it's my hips/tops of my thighs. I kind of feel like my abs are missing out because of another weak link in my body… I think if I NEED to stop during an ab workout, it should be because I've worked my abs.
Does that make any sense… do you agree? Only reason I mention it is because you made note of the Cardio Abs workout pushing your hip flexors pretty hard.
I hear what you are saying exactly!! I guess its all part of your abs getting stronger and just getting used to it. I totally here you with taking a break not because of my abs, but the hip flexors lol.
I just think its all part of the puzzle ya know. By the last 30 days I think it will make a difference and we will be able to really focus in on the abs and other body parts.
Thats my theory at least lol.
