Soreness? Really?

Ok so its been a few days since I have posted. Don’t worry I have not missed any of my Insanity Days! My title Soreness Really? Well this is my 4th week of Insanity and I am feeling really good. This past weekend I think the hard work really kicked in and I was feeling good, not beat up like previous weeks. So why the title ? lol

If you have read my past posts you know I like to play basketball. I haven’t played since the first day of Insanity. I just haven’t had the time and I am anxious to play and see how the Insanity workout will help my game. I can’t see it not considering how much leg work is involved. In fact I would tell coaches to get their players on the Insanity Workout before the season starts. Anyways.. it wasn’t basketball that got me, it was softball practice! Are you kidding me! I have been busting my hump for almost a month and one day of Softball practice kills me.  Well what can I say, I was using a lot of muscles I haven’t used since last season and that’s just how it goes.

Regardless I end up doing Plyo Cardio Circuit last night because I just couldn’t get up early enough and did my cardio recovery this morning. Seriously how the heck do they hold those squats and lunges for so long lol.  I’m like please say I can stand up. Each week I do feel stronger and now I am just looking forward to the next workout.  2 more days left and I am done with the first month. Can’t believe it went by so fast. I am curious what the recovery week is going to be like. I am going to try and play bball at least one night to add a little more cardio to the mix. We shall see.

Also I had mentioned I was using pads under the carpet in my garage. Here is a picture of what I meant. I had to swap out the center tiles because I was squishing them and they were losing their thickness lol.

Tomorrow is Pure Cardio Abs!! Curios to see how my hip flexors will hold up and if I can focus more on the ab muscles themselves!

Ha also check out my Shaun T Quotes page. Pretty funny!

Stick with the recovery week even though after the 3rd workout it seems like a drag. Take it easy because the Max workouts are no joke, feels like day 1 all over again. Proud of you man!

Yeah not looking forward to the same thing all week, but obviously there is a purpose to it! Need to be tip top for MAX WORKOUTS! yikes lol.

Your starting your Insanity Cycle over again right? What day are you on and how much are you running on the site?

Killer man! Still here workin’ and readin’ with you! Coaching my son’s little league has been killing me, as well as spring cleaning in the yard!

Great to hear that you’re feeling a bit more in tune! You should after pushing like you have. Recovery week is great… boring, but great. Just watch the last section involving your arms/shoulders… OUCH!

Kill it man, stick with it!!!
