Woo Hoo Cardio Power

OK so I rocked out Cardio Power & Resistance today. I felt really good! This was the first time after a workout that I didn’t feel completely drained! That is a good thing. I think it is all coming together. The only thing I hate about this workout is the Power Jacks which I can’t really do, because it feels like my hips are about to pop out and the globe jumps because I have no room for them. So I just do some high knees and hop from side to side in place of the norm. Keeps the heart rate up and the sweat keeps coming so its all good!
Wow so I can’t believe I have one more day left of week 3! LIke I said before I really haven’t lost any weight, but i feel tighter and can see a bit more toneness.< “is that a word?”
I do notice my belly is a bit more loose? Not flabby, but def not as fat, but seems to jiggle a bit more. No jiggle! Jiggle bad!! Again its only been 3 weeks and I have always read and noticed that it typicall takes 2 weeks to see results from the original workout, so I think I am getting there. I am def going to need to tweak my diet a bit soon. I actually don’t think I am eating enough!

Weight is no valid measure here. As you said previously, you’re building muscle, and that’s heavier than fat. Go by your clothes/body measurements. In the end, that’s what the ultimate goal is! Build your muscle tone, then melt the fat off of them so they can be seen!
You’ve been too hard at it for too long to NOT have lost body fat… And that’s a good thing!!!!
Chris – Just wanted to let you know you’re inspiring others. Consider coaching. Besides a 25% discount on Beachbody products, you get a chance to earn money helping others get fit. As far as weight, there are a couple of things that may be playing out. First, as you put new stress on muscles, they breakdown. Cool, huh? They have to break down to get stronger. During this phase, your body actually holds water around the tissue to help it repair. This is one of the main reasons why you often don’t see weight loss early in a workout program. Second, you may to take a look at your nutrition plan. You need to eat at least five times per day to keep your metabolism stoked. Otherwise, your body will go into a storage mode and actually burn less calories – ouch! Not good for weight loss.
